Sarah Ferdjani
Sarah Ferdjani is a Senior Programme Officer under the Trade and Industrialization Division at AUDA-NEPAD in charge of the Tourism and Creative sector portfolio and also supporting the 100 Million MSMEs Initiative team. She has over ten years of progressive experience in the Development sector ranging from UN emergency operations in West Africa (Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso) to support youth, entrepreneurs and MSME’s accelerator programmes on the continent. She is very keen on advancing the agenda of the Continental creative and Tourism Industry under the leadership of the African Union as she believes these sectors are key in helping advance Agenda 2063 and the achievement of the African Renaissance. She currently holds a master’s degree in business administration by Beijing Jiaotong University and bachelor’s degree from Sharjah University UAE. Her past experience also includes starting successful natural cosmetic startup back in 2014 with her former business partner and running the business for a few years thus her first-hand experience and eagerness to support young entrepreneurs especially women and helping them navigate their journey as entrepreneurs.
