Mohamed Abdel Dayem is a globally engaged scholar and practitioner in Arts and Cultural Management and strategic foresight planning for arts institutions. A Creative Economy Advisor and Former Assistant Minister of Culture in Egypt, he brings over two decades of cross-sectoral experience spanning public office, private enterprise, and non-profit leadership in Egypt, Italy, Qatar, the United States, and South Korea.

As a National Consultant for Creative Economy with the British Council Egypt over the past decade, Abdel Dayem has played a pivotal role in the Supporting the Creative Economy (SCE) initiative. His work extended from policy design and strategic planning to the implementation of large-scale programs. He successfully lobbied with politicians and decision-makers, trained and empowered more than 100 policy makers across 7 key ministries, and helped build stronger institutional frameworks for the creative economy in Egypt.

In his role as Assistant Minister for Development and Creative Economy at the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, he spearheaded the development of the first ever National Creative Economy Strategy, focusing on advancing cultural industries, embedding innovation, and aligning national priorities with global creative-economy trends.

Abdel Dayem has led transformative initiatives in arts management, cultural entrepreneurship, stakeholder engagement, and public communication. His work has consistently advanced innovation, policy reform, and capacity-building within creative ecosystems nationally and globally.

As a faculty member at Paris ESLSCA Business School in Cairo, he teaches marketing, consumer behaviour, and creative entrepreneurship, blending academic insight with real-world application
