A visionary and strategic thinker, Eddie is deeply committed to the growth of Africa’s creative economy. Driven by this passion, he aspires to be at the forefront of shaping impactful programmes that drive innovation and growth in Africa’s cultural and creative industries (CCIs). In addition to running the Music In Africa Foundation, Eddie has conceptualised and led transformative projects in various areas, including media, research, artist mobility, continental funding programmes, social enterprise development, talent discovery, intellectual property management, music markets, festival production, and policy advocacy. Currently, Eddie is leading two key CCI research projects for the World Bank Group in Mozambique and Senegal, and he is a lead music consultant in the latest research project by the African Development Bank, which aims to unlock the full economic potential of African creative industries.
